Origin of Darkness – Siren

Porter.
Raisins and prunes are used as ingredients.
Aged in rum barrels.
The body is heavy.
I thought the body would be more difficult to drink because of the high alcohol content, but it’s surprisingly smooth to drink.
I didn’t have a bad feeling when I drank it, and it felt smooth.
When you put your face close to the glass, you can smell the sweet aroma of caramel.
On the palate, it tastes like dried fruit, especially raisins.
A little bit of chocolate.
A little bit of soy sauce.
And then there’s a vaguely bourbon flavor.
A little bit of acidity, I guess.
It’s a complex flavor, and it’s hard to write my impressions.

By the way, I bought this beer because I was curious about the label.
The illustration of a whale caught my attention.
